Lecture by Charles Cross

Early arrivals can attend a lecture by Charles Cross. Pop music author and journalist, Cross's best-selling biographies chronicle some of the icons of our time, including Springsteen (Backstreets: Springsteen, the Man and His Music), Kurt Cobain (Heavier than Heaven), Led Zeppelin (Shadows Taller Than our Souls), and his latest, a biography of Jimi Hendrix (Room Full of Mirrors). Spring Zing features the Proctor District, as various merchants and dining establishments welcome families with discounts.

Brian Lynch Performance

Performances are the centerpieces for the evening, with Grammy-winning trumpeter BRIAN LYNCH as guest artist with the UPS Jazz Orchestra, with guest artist HENRIK BOTHE –the Victor Borge of physical comedy – 7:30pm at the historic Blue Mouse Theater (2611 N. Come see some of Puget Sound's most talented singers in the Opera Production "Le Comtre Ory" in Schneebeck Concert Hall 7:30. Tickets are $15 general admission; $10 seniors, military, students, Puget Sound faculty/staff; and $7 for Puget Sound students

Looking for Normal Theatre Performance

Each year, the University of Puget Sound Theater Department puts on a month long festival as the senior member's culminating project. This weekend's Senior Theater Festival show is Looking for Normal. Performance is in Norton Clapp Theatre at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $8 general; $6 seniors, students, military, Puget Sound faculty/staff/students.

Spring Lū`au

The Spring Lū`au is a special cultural event that the Hui O Hawaii club has the pleasure of sharing with our fellow peers, faculty, staff and the local community. The Lū`au is an opportunity to join together to share and participate in the cultural significance of our food and dance. We invite you to enjoy this evening with us, a Hali'a Aloha (Cherished Memory) you will never forget. Dinner is 5-7 in Marshall hall, with the show to follow at 8 in the Memorial Field House. Prices for the general public are dinner only: $16, show only: $12, combo ticket: $24. UPS staff, students, seniors and children: dinner only: $12, show only: $9, combo ticket: $17.Combo ticket includes both dinner and show.
